Campsites are in a meadow like setting, in full to partial sun, in the river bottom of the Coeur d'Alene Mountains. Popular Coeur d'Alene Lake is about 65 miles west of Kit Price. Wildlife in the region includes mule deer, moose, osprey and calliope hummingbirds.
