Overview Six Mile Gap Campground is 2 miles off Highway 230. Located in a saddle above the North Platte River and provides access to the North Platte River and Platte River Wilderness Area. Natural Features The Snowy Range rises from sagebrush and lodgepole pine forests in lower elevations to spruce-fir forests and alpine areas in the high country.
